Palestinian Martyrs' Day

We honor the sacred relationship between the living and the dead and our rites to mourn in the tradition of our ancestors.

We recognize that life is systematically taken from us by design of the cruel order of racist colonialism. We hold one another in the practice of collective mourning and remembrance of our martyrs. We demand the right to bury our dead with dignity, to grieve their souls, and the rights of martyrs to rest in the earth of their homeland free and in peace. Their lives, legacies, and everlasting contributions will continue to inspire our struggle for liberation.
